Who we are
We are a physician-founded, early stage company commercializing healthcare technology developed at the University of Virginia.
Our first product focuses on central line associated bloodstream infections (CLABSI), which kill 28,000 patients annually in the United States and are increase healthcare costs by approximately $2 BB per year.
Our second product focuses on surgical site infections, which are the cause of even more morbidity, costing the US healthcare system $3.3 BB annually.
